Day 4 (6.22.16): Ice Cream forever by Dalia Socher

The feeling in the room was palliable, the pure happiness of being in Israel mixed with the pure goodness of ice cream. Everyone could agree this marketplace was one of the best places we visited so far in Israel simply because there was more than one place to buy the ice cream. As cohort four member Samantha Rose said, “This ice cream is as cold and good as Cleveland in the winter time.” She was eating the Vaniglia best seller vanilla. Almost everyone agreed that this store was better than the other one down the road called Candy Train. However, I disagreed with the majority of our group and thought that Candy Train was better because they offered a variety of different frozen and non frozen treats.

Candy Train offered ice cream, popsicles, crepes, candy, and more. Everyone could enjoy a sweet treat when visiting this establishment. I got to have the unique experience of trying a Dippin Dots like product called Shots. They were banana and strawberry flavored, but the banana had an overwhelming taste that took over the flavor of all the strawberry shots. These were utterly disgusting, but on the upside I got to try something new and I was able to get a palate cleanser at the same store because they had everything! The Candy Train store helped create a once in a lifetime experience that was perfect because of the imperfections.
