Today we went to shuk Hacarmel and walked around with the shinshinim. My group was me, Danielle, and Ava. We first walked to get pasta from Pasta Basta and it was delicious. After that we explored around and found things for Ava’s family. While we were walking around I got a passion fruit slushy and gifts for my family. After we finished shopping we interviewed two people about what home meant to them. Then we met up with the new shin shins and talked for the rest of the time in the shuk. I met Ziv the one new shin shin I didn’t meet yet, and she was really nice. We talked about how schools in America are different from schools in Israel. After that we were late to get on the bus to go to meet with our next presenter - Itamar. Overall I had a very fun and productive time at the shuk.
